Are the consultations recorded and how does videoDoc protect patient privacy?
Consultations are never recorded. We hold the patient-doctor confidentiality in the highest regard. Patient history and consultation notes are strictly only accessed by the doctor and the patient involved. We comply with the UK’s Data Protection Act and the US standards: HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) We guarantee the highest level of confidentiality to all our patients. Can my employees access videoDoc from abroad?
Yes, that’s no problem – that is part of the convenience of videoDoc services. Simply log in as usual and your remote medical access continues as normal.
Does videoDoc provide a prescription service?
Yes! For added convenience, employees can also give details of their preferred pharmacy so our doctors, when necessary, can send their prescription directly there, saving time and making life that bit easier for everyone.
How does videoDoc work?
Once your employee is registered, they simply log on to the videoDoc app on their mobile phone and request a consultation either via video or a telephone call. A consultation usually takes place within 10 minutes. If a patient doesn’t want to wait, they have the option to request a call back at their own convenience.
